Each doll is accompanied by an Adoption Certificate which states the dolls name (which you choose), the date of adoption, particulars of the adopting 'parent', together with a photograph of the finished doll.

If the doll is 'adopted' by a child, a letter will also accompany the certificate, giving brief details about the doll 'when she came to live at the adoption center' etc.
